I have a rebuilt 69 383 to 69 specs, on the stand. I purchased Hughes SEH2428BL Hydraulic at the time I built the short block, already installed. My question is simple any problems using 906's ported/polished with 2.14 intakes and the larger 1.80 exhaust. Heads Im buying are already set up this way. Is this set up going to help me or hinder me,

IMO the 906 heads with the 2.14/1.81 valve combination will work very well, the stock heads respond to porting & bigger valves. The cam should be great with ported heads, fairly high lift & fairly short duration. Good for a small displacement motor.
