It's on!! August 17th Sun with a start time of 10:00. The live music will start around 11 after everyone has settled in. The rules are to bring a relic of automotive history in any condition and any make (though we typically focus on American iron) and a side dish to share (or something to throw on the grille). To get things started I'll have ball tip for about 20 plus water and soda. Think picnic so bring chairs, a pop up if you have one, coolers, ice and your favorite adult beverage. I expect a good showing of the local car folks and it would be great to meet some of the local (or not so local) FBBO guys and gals. Budnicks, you gonna make it this year to hang with the Concord boys??

My son and I are looking forward to it, thanks for the invite.

crap!!! I already took my one day off for the year already!

im going to plan for it next year....

4 B's and an E.jpg

4 B's and an E. See you there.

Expecting about 50 people and 30 vintage cars off all types. Sounds like Marpar screwed up!!

And I got Tumbledown House to play the show as a trio!!!! Youtube them. Frickin' awesome!!

Sounds like you NoCal guys got it going on. I wish we could do the same somewhere in SoCal!

Any meeting places down this way you guys know about - or anyone?

You could be the guy! Just ring up some car buddies and get a head count; go see a good local band and ask them if they would play at a private party for a bunch of gearheads; get good meat for the BBQ then show everyone where to park.

I'll be up in Redbluff on Sunday, at my sisters place, leaving tonight, long drive from here 4-5hrs,
she got issues/problems with her irrigation system & my step father Bob, who's staying with her,
always messing stuff up...

sorry I'll miss it again,

I was down in your neck of the woods, late June, when my uncle Ron died,
services & family gathering were in Danville...
I was going to come over pop in, see your shop do a face to face, BUT
unfortunately I had to scoot back home & deal with my ol'dog Buddy falling down some stairs,
when my neighbor was watching him...

PITA still but that's a whole nother deal, on my plate lately...

Everything around me lately is aging, old & decrepit forgetful or messing stuff up
{no offense intended/meant to the elderly, just my family or dog nonsense/crap}
& has some kind of health {or financial} problems it seems now, human & pets alike...LOL...

A few prelim pics Dennis has more and of me! It's scary too lol

Hey Meep thanks again for inviting us my son and I had a blast your place is the bomb ;) (insert symbol ride) Sorry just had to, real missile base and all lol If you get a chance can you share those pictures from the drone that guy was flying around that would be very cool to see?

The event was a smashing success thanks to everyone attending. The people were great and the music was off the charts. It was great to see the local FBBO members as well as some old buddies from my 911 days. Did anyone catch the 426 hemi head and crank used as the counterweight for the band pop up? And that is the rug from my living room!! It is now known as the Tumbledown House show rug and I'll never wash it again! I got a lot of positive feedback about the music and likewise the band had a great time playing a venue they have never played at before. What, you never played at a NIKE missile base surrounded by a bunch of gearheads and old cars before?? Shocking! I will post pics as I get them. This was the best event yet!!

Dennis lmao Mr discrete lol

Warbird is right it felt like WW2 flying home hit a mine field down that country road thought I had taken out my oil pan hit the bump stops so hard on a dip I pulled over thinking oh **** should be seeing oil smoke any second. But no visible damage got home didn't even see any chunks of asphalt in the K member lmao heck might have even smoothed out some dents in it :) Some day it will be as cool maybe as your guys cars at least sorta close I hope.

John seems like a super smart dude how can I get him to tune my set up? After chatting him a little I could tell he has it all figured down to the smallest detail forget the fact that his Cuda' was the biggest baddest thing there! :) Holy smokes when I asked him if he drives with those fat drag slicks on the back he said oh yeah can't keep it from lighting them up at 70 on the freeway without them! That was awesome! Instant respect right there.

68sportsatellites (spelling?) bird looks awesome very well done and he is soo close to being complete now. It was nice to see it up close.

Besides Johns cuda and Meeps 69 RR in progress and your 69 R/T and Dwayne's 68 satty my next favorite was that Green 69 GTX Hemi survivor that car was real sweet to see. Also liked the 67 Coronet HT another sweet B body.

Dennis, nice pic of Jackie! Mr. Discreet. You might be dangerous with a big lens living in a high rise apartment building.

By the way, pics in post #16 don't work for me. Anyone else have an issue with that?
