Car trailers sturdy enough to haul a B body.

I own two trailers and move tractors around to shows here in NY. According to the DOT, if you are not engaged in commerce, the DOT tie- down rules don’t apply.

I used a chain, ran it over the diff and to the back corner D-rings. Then, one axle strap each side to the outboard-most point of the rear axle to that same side corner D-ring.

Up front, it was lower A-arm with an axle strap, then a large tie-dye to the same corner D-ring, for both lower A-arms. The winch held an axle strap around the front crossmember (or center point of the front straight axle). So, there were six points of connection, in all. Never lost a vehicle. I didn't care for crossing straps or chains, as I'd seen that chafe the straps.
