I have heard about cdb oil , read up some on it.
Question is does it really do any good for arthritis ?
All the info I read is put out by the sellers.
So I figure most you guys are close to my age and deal with simular joint trouble so whats the verdict on cdb.

My wife has had rheumatoid arthritis for over 30 years and a friend of ours recommended CDB oil and we talked to our doctor about it and he said even though he does not prescribe it he would not be opposed for her to try it.
She got some about 6 months ago and she says it does help with the pain.
Her blood work is doing good without any side effects so far.

Thanks for the info. I'm glad your wife is getting a little help from the oil.
I have had cortisone injections in the past.
No joints replaced and trying to keep it that way for a few more years.

I've used it many times, still have a bottle in the kitchen. Ten drops under the tongue. I don't know that it helps with my knees, but I won't say you shouldn't try it. It's like most things, some may like it, some may not. I have a friend whose daughter has debilitating seizures, dozens a day. She has improved dramatically. She still has them, but not near as many.

Stay away from the cortisone if you can as it just makes things worse in the long run. They have fused both of her wrists and replaced the joints in one of her hands and scheduled for the other. Rehab is a bitch but it pays off in the long run. The medicines are way worse over time to your liver, kidneys, pancreas, and stomach lining.
Try the gummy's as she says they work really good for her as well.

Are you talking about cannabidiol, CBD? It can be effective for pain, I have a friend who uses it to stay off oxy and other opioids. She has a severe pain disorder called RSD and it helps. The problem with cannabis is that it is mostly unregulated (wild west) so you can't be sure what you are getting. CBD oil you get may just be olive oil with some low grade hemp? Oregon is I think the only state that has a regulatory setup in place for testing. People get all in a bind about regulation but if it wasn't for the FDA there would be a lot more snake oil around.

A friend of mine swears by it. He has gnarly looking hands.

I use the topical cbd cream, I have hip pain it helps me a lot. It doesn't eliminate it 100% but enough to function without tremendous effort.

Thanks for the replies, I am still working each day.
At this point I'm doing ok but starting to eat way to much ibuprofen and have been using cortisone shots at times.
My rods and mains are getting a little more clearance than they should have. Lol.
I figured there might be a little info on here about cbd.
Thanks

Like any drug, some helps, others it shows no effect.I do not hear of any side affects with CBD. I tried the oil, oral and topical. I really can't say it helped. What did help was the CBD topical cream as I started having psoriatic arthritis and it did clear up the skin condition after about 6 months of use.

I will say this, My friend lives in Cape Cod Massachusetts and the position he is in helped him get Charlottes web CBD oil brought into use so his daughter could get relief from seizures no one here could even begin to imagine. For his daughter there was no other answer.

I which joints? I have arthritis really bad in one knee - to the point of can't touch it, can't walk on it, etc.. A specialist gave me cortisone only to dee if it worked. Its just a cheap bandaid! When it worked he switched me to Synvisc. The shots are supposed to last 6 months - mine last for 3 years or more! Costs more but well worth it.

My wife's arthritis is worse than mine. She's had a knee and a hip replaced and will have the other knee done. She uses CBD oil and says it works wonders.

Be careful what you buy. It's not regulated. Many people buy one product, and when it does nothing they give up. You will need to do lots of research. Many companies will harvest and process the whole plant and their won't be hardly any cbd in it. The high quality cbd products have helped a lot of people. But be careful...the snake oil premis is also true. Those that say it is worthless after trying something stewed up in someone's garage, quite frankly don't know what they are talking about. But those that say it's heals all things are also off their rocker.
I have been around the industry since 2015. Cbd has helped many people, and I think it will continue to improve.

This is what I use for my RA. I had started with an injectable med, can't remember what it was, no change. Since I have a auto immune system issue, hyperthyroid, the doc gave me an RX for a oral med thats used my pregnant ladies. When I went to fill it, the Pharmacist asked if she mentioned I would have to get my eyes checked at least 4 times a year due to that one. Didn't touch it. There is a type of arthritis, Zera Negative?, thats especially auto immune driven. My oldest bro has that one. Got tested for it, don't have it. Next step was Humera. That stuff sets you up for all sorts of problems. No thanks. I had heard about Tumeric being used. Its a natural anti inflammatory. I got some of the spice and had been using it with good results. Then I found out about the liquid in the photo. It works even better since it absorbs into the system much better, been using it for the better part of 8 years. No side effects as in the cure is worse than the problem you are dealing with. It takes the main joint issue away enough so that I can still function. It does not take the issues away over night, took a month or so till I noticed anything. Some time back when money was tight I had to stop taking it. I was off of it for a week. Then it was like OMG, I ffn hurt. I get this at Costco.

I've never tried CBD but to keep my arthritis and any inflamation under control I have been using Turmeric pills with great success. I started using turmeric about 2 years ago after hearing others using it. I don't have any pain anymore from arthritis, back pain, any pain associated with inflammation. Sure I'll twist my back while doing something and it'll hurt for the day, but it use to hurt for 2 weeks. I take the one per day capsule I get from Costco.

My wife and I have been using it for years.

Basically there are 2 types of CBD's that most don't look deeper into. Sativa and Indica based products. Sativa effects the mind as opposed to Indica which effects more of the body. Indica cuts down on the discomfort and pain with out getting the BUZZZZZZ. I do occasionally use a Gummie for when I am having issues related to my breathing and joint pain/discomfort and it does help me relax and loose a lot of the pain. Also helps when trying to sleep. Look into Indica deeper and you will understand its working effects...cr8crshr/Bill:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::usflag::usflag::usflag:
