In the continuing saga of finally getting my GTX on the road, I have now decided that I cannot let the rear main seal leak continue. It seemed to be a small leak, but appears to be getting worse now that I am finally really shaking it down on the road (over 200 miles this weekend). So I will be working on replacing the rear main seal soon...hopefully before Carlisle. In the meantime, does anyone have a good recommendation for how to clean the burnt oil residue off of the exhaust pipes? Unfortunately, the leak is starting to leave a little too much mess for my liking under the car. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Easy Off oven cleaner will work, but wear goggles and do it outside! Use some steel wool or
Scotch Brite to move things along. Good luck!
