Fair? Really? $3xx if you don’t have the core?

$175 for rebuilding? A “simple” pulsator?… I know is not “quite simple” by design, but its function.
First off it's a 1 year only part so it's not easily available. The switches are disassembled, cleaned, lubricated and rewired. The metal pieces are also replated. So if you charge $75hr for services that is only about 2hrs or less plus materials.

If it was a restored show car, I'd pay the price. If it's a car that I'm building to drive and I'm on a budget, I'd make up something with over-the-counter parts as shown above.
