Hmmm.....I think my fuel line has frozen in my pick up truck. Turns over like a champ. Even beating the gas pedal down repeatedly doesn't give me a flooded gas smell. It doesn't even try to start. Gots a 1/4 tank of go juice. It went down to 8 the other night and was windy.

Had a similar prob on a car years ago.... took off the fuel ine.... SOLID ICE. Turns out the ex was buying gas from a place I told her to stay away from. Go figure....

What is the truck? Electric fuel pump? Try banging on the bottom of the tank, sometimes that gets stuck pumps going.

I doubt your gas is freezing up but you might have problems with condensation freezing up a line or the pump. Will the engine fire if you pour a bit down the throat? Fuel injection or carb? What year is the truck?

Yep, we are also going to 12 below. I'm on the mountain and the wind from the north west hits the back of my cabin like a freight train though. Makes for a cool bedroom on that side. Good thing my wife is a quilter.

HA, HA. I paid 900 bucks for said ford 2 yrs ago and it has not failed me till now. Pretty good record for an old farm truck. And it's my fault.

Well, I pulled a spark plug. It's dry. Checked the spark, it has fire. Poured HEET dry gas in it. Waiting for it to work on that 1/4 tank of fuel. I know there is a Shrader valve somewhere under the hood that should spit gas at me if I push it. Cant locate it. The Inertia Fuel Shutoff is in the down, or pushed in, position with the red plastic showing through the slot. Any more ideas?

Have someone turn key and listen for the fuel pump. the valve is on the fuel line that feeds the injectors cant remember exactly where. Fuel pump would be high on my list. By the way it was -17 on my way to work this am.

Found the fuel line Shrader valve. No dice. No fuel. Soo....either the line is really frozen, the pumps shot, or banging the tank. Too cold out to see. Good thing I have more cars.
