Personally I prefer the Power Probe, which gives you the ability to send 12v. Theprobe is small enough to pierce the isulation but if you miss you are bleeding... My finger has been pierced as much as a diabetic...

3M makes a product called Scotch-cote that seems to seal very well. Dries quickly.

I’m familiar.
I equate it to anti seize. As soon as I open the can, I have it on the back of my elbow, ear and up my arms.
