Ok guys, it's been a while since I've posted. I had a 73 RR. Everything was stolen and I mean everything. Tools, body parts engine tranny etc...... My buddy hooked me up with a 72 Satellite ( I know it will be a clone ). I don't care because it's going to be my car. It has a 318 bow but I looking at a 400. Someone told me that the K Frame will fit both BB and small block. Is this true?

k frame is the same
for a real clone
about your biggest hurdle is getting a rallye cluster and wiring for the dash
most of the rest will be the same

Yeah. I have the seats and rallye dash. I'm supposed to go look at a 8 3/4 rear end Thurs. Plus a 400 cid. Hope all goes well.

I have a 71 72 B body 8 3/4 housing with Axels.

And how bout some pics of your ride.

I like the plan.
Somebody once turned a 70 Road Runner convertible into a Superbird.
Wish I still had pictures of that....

I acuatly pulled it out of a pasture. Everything has been rebuilt under the hood. But I do live in Florida. No worries I'm taking care of the rust issues this week.

Someone mentioned a dash wiring harness? I have both the dash harness, engine harness and a rallye gauge cluster. If i remember correctly the fuel gauge died.

If you need the stuff, I am looking to move it.
I also have an almost complete 73 Roadrunner parts car, too many parts to list.

Good luck! This is going to be awesome - sorry to hear your previous 73 was shredded up by thieves.

that is not just a satellite, that is a satellite sebring PLUS.. dont loose that alum trim on the sides, very hard to find it , especially if it is not beat to hell. do you have all ? what part of Fl?? ( central fl here )

The grill assembly is probably going to be the hardest thing you will have to find for your car (it's a 1 year part and made in pretty limited numbers). Unfortunately, I do not think there is enough demand for a company to repop these although the few of us that have 72's would be very grateful if they did. Tonymoparts has one listed on his site for $1495 and you will have to get the different grill brackets because they are different than the satellite and he has those listed for $295. Add shipping and special care to that one and your looking at $1900.

and $2000 for grill, keep it a ssp and I have a rust free hood for ya. Looks like the major problem might be that roof though.
