Can anyone tell me where to locate the CORRECT brake hardware set for a 1969 Plymouth Road Runner with the factory 11" non self-adjusting rear brakes? I found a broken lower spring upon inspection, but all I keep finding is 11" brake hardware with self-adjusters. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

No, tried all the local and online auto parts places. Everybody does the same, looks at the computor and says this one is the one and it's always w/self adjusters. I try to explain about RR having the Police/Taxi brakes without self adjusters and I just get that deer in the headlight look or phone silence.....If someone just has the part number I can track it down

Try NAPA number 80503 spring $4 not postive but $4 won't brake you?
Adjusters, a little finder tooth than factory UP80556 left UP 80557 right $7ea. They aren't as fine toothed as self adjusters. I bought the adjusters for my car they're right. Spring didn't need so.....

I just replaced my brakes on my 68 Super Bee with muscle car brakes kit. Mine are 11” non adjusters. I have the springs that we’re on the unless your wanting to go with new I can see if I have the one you need.

OK, just ordered from Napa online and it's supposed to be in by Thursday, we'll see. Thank you Fran and everyone else. Hopefully the rear brake hose I ordered today also will be correct, as the first one I got from O'Reillys had two 3/8" ends while I need one 3/8" and one 7/16". Guess it's a lot to ask for 51 year old car parts...lol. I'll let everyone know how I make out

Just a FYI, In a pinch, the front drum brake hose will work ( has the correct ends) on the rear, but I just couldn't do it...lol

Yeah, even with the extension, it has plenty of room to move suprisingly. I really wouldn't run it just cause it's obviously not the right hose, but if I needed to get to work the next day I believe I might...:steering:

OK, here's what I have as of now. The NAPA # 80503 worked perfectly for the lower return spring even though it is slightly smaller in diameter ( .060"), I'm sure it'll work just fine. Also needed the parking brake strut spring which was also broken and not in the normal hardware kit .I found a Carlson # H1338-2 which worked perfectly. Now just awaiting the Dorman #H24717 hose to see if I'm back on the road. Should be here this weekend so I'll let everyone know when it arrives

Just an update, the Dorman H24717 rear brake hose came in early and I'm happy to report it is a perfect match for the original hose. Got me to thinking it would be nice to have a section here were replacement part numbers could be listed for quick reference. Thanks again to everyone for the help.
