I'm wondering if the cruise route was in the fire area. The few pics I saw looked very close plus I heard on a news report that Topanga Canyon areas were being evacuated.

They have rerouted the cruise before for various reasons. Chances are if there is a problem now, the streets will be open long before April of next year.
