Spring Fling (Excerpt from the Chrysler Power Jul/Aug 19 issue)

For many of us living on the West Coast, the beginning of the car show season starts with the annual Chrysler Performance West “Spring Fling” car show held at Woodley Park in Van Nuys, California; this year the show dates fell on April 13th-14th. This show features the largest all Mopar gathering in the West and also the largest swap meet for those hunting for that one last piece to make their project complete.
This multi day event starts with a pre-show meet up at Willow Springs Raceway where there is an open track day to allow hobbyists to put their cars to the test. If you’ve never done this and you like to drive your cars hard, this is a “must do” event for sure!
I flew in this time and stayed at the Airtel Hotel (the host hotel), which is a nice affordable place to stay, and only a few miles from the park.
