SOLD Crank Damper for 1972 400 (Cast Crank, Auto)

I've started noticing a pretty serious vibration in my Roadrunner. It happens in idle, so I know it's not a drivetrain issue, and I already checked the weights on the torque converter. Everything looks in line, so I'm thinking the crank damper is the culprit since it was never replaced during the resto. This also might explain the belt squeal I can't seem to resolve.

Anyways, from all of the research I've done, a 1972 400 block with an auto transmission would have come with a cast crank and the damper part number is 3614374. I've looked around online and I can't seem to find these new anywhere. Have they stopped production?

If anybody here has one or knows where to get one, that would be excellent.

Try "Damper Doctor". I got one off him 2 years ago. He actually rebuilds them also if he doesn't have one for sale.

I spoke with him and I'll be ordering mine up today. He seems to have a lot of negative reviews online and minimal positive ones. I guess people only speak up when they're angry. I'll be sure to post the results of my transaction for future reference.

Too bad I didn't see your post sooner. I bought a 400 magnum out of a garage for a stroker build. This engine has the harmonic balancer you are looking to buy. This engine has been sitting since 1977 when the guy I bought it from was in high school. The rubber is perfect not all squished out, like the ones that have been in use for over 40 years.
