My ''68 Coronet has 3.5" backspacing on the 5.5" rims

Yes and on TDC of #1 the rotor should point right above where the wires are coming out of it. Nice thing about these is there is only 2 ways it goes in so it is right or 180 degrees out.

You should put some tape or something over the AC evaporator pipes in the firewall.

Yes lube it up with some pledge and I use a radiator hose tool to help stretch it over. Putting it in some hot water for a few minutes will help too.

Got the grommet on the speedo cable thanks Jim. Surprisingly easier than I expected.

Also installed another splash pan on driver's side. Am I correct in thinking there is NOT one on the passenger side? Or am I just missing it?

I took this piece off in 1996 and never put it back on...I have no idea where it goes but I've been holding on to it... Anyone?
