Where is the 5 Horsepower difference ?

* 383/330 HP {1963 thru 1965}
* 383/325 HP {1966 and 1967}

Equal Components
* Compression Ratio
* Cylinder Heads
* Valve Size
* Carter AFB
* Intake Manifold

Not sure if this is exact, but I recall the 383/330 had a low restriction air cleaner and different exhaust manifolds than the 383/325.
 
...and at 1.25% of the total, could easily be a tolerance, interpretation, operator, or more likely, advertizing issue.

Pretty sure the air filter alone could be a 1% gain.

1963 thru 1965 > 383/330 HP cars did come thru with Dual-Point Distributors.

1966 and 1967 > 383/325 HP cars came thru with Single-Point Distributors.
