hello, looking for some assistance in wanting to change drum brakes to disc brakes on 69 super bee, all stock. any help would be appreciated. How big of job is it and can what kits would you suggest. thanks
Go to the welcome wagon introduce yourself and your car, this guy's love pics, now regarding your question this is a must read before you do anything, some will tell you more about where and who to buy, welcome to the site. https://www.moparaction.com/2016/03/16/disc-main/
There are a lot of different ways to go. Some here will tell you that the conversion kits that use your existing spindles are the best. (they are easier) Some will say to get new spindles made for disks. I'm in the second camp. Either way read the link in coronet68mx's post.
I went with a wilwood disc brake kit. And was amazed at how easy it was to install, I used the original drum spindles and manual drum brake master cylinder.
You could go with newer model disc brake parts! Alot cheaper!!!
I'm sure someone can go into what's needed more . I know I sell upper lower spindle out alot at swap meets for this reason I have a few setups here I usually get $350 a pair shipping might be rough though you might find a setup near you.
