I'm restoring my high school car, a 1966 Satellite. We have decided to upgrade to front disc brakes. My question is I want to change the master cylinder to the dual reservoir type instead of the stock single reservoir. The problem is the single comes with a plunger attached that bolts to the brake pedal. A replacement dual cylinder for a later model Satellite comes with no plunger. What's up with that? How do I solve this problem? Thanks for your help.

A quick look on the internet at kits for this states that some come with a pushrod for the master cylinder.
Are you also putting a proportioning valve in the system? I think you should.

Master cylinder manual brake comes with push rod. Power brakes no push rod.
