I’m putting my parts together but I run into a problem and looking for advice. I don’t have enough space to enter the cotter pin. The pin will fit without the rotor, so the bearings aren’t bottoming out.

All parts are new, but something might be wrong.

The rotors are 11.75” for a 78 Cordoba.

Any thoughts?

I've had the same problem with MBM brakes. Use an original nut which is a bit thinner than the repro one.

Are both bearing races tapped in until they seat?
