Using their money to make money is not a bad deal. While holding a balance can obviously make them money, they make a fast few percent to make transactions. Not everyone will let you use them because of the cost to them. I wanted to charge my epoxy driveway. They said they couldn't. I asked them to figure it out. Out of 14 thousand after he did the math, we let me do 6.

Lots of companies here are now charging a "surcharge" for using Credit Cards or 'PayWave' - simply because the Banks are charging them as merchants to use the facility.

We have some gas stations that have two different prices, cash and credit.
I do what I can do.

On the rare occasions that I have tradesmen do work for me, I’ll ask if they’ll give a cash discount. I’ve saved a bunch doing that.

Did that with the roofer.
