DOGS

I'm still learning about dogs. These are the first dogs I've ever had in my life.
I did not realize till just the other day, how MUCH they are creatures of habit. I knew they were used to the way the balls were handed out, during play time. (Magnum, ALWAYS first, across the yard to the left, then Cuda, across the yard to the right, and then Hemi down the sidewalk)
But I finally realized that at treat time, whether in the bedroom, or on the porch, or where ever, they always stand in the same order! And they'll shuffle around till they get it right! Cuda to the left, Magnum in the middle, Hemi to my right.
Has anybody else with multiple pooches noticed this?
Edit: I've tried multiple times to get all three in one shot waiting for treats. They'll never sit still close enough to get em all. Besides, fiddling with a camera slows down the treat handing out!

When I'm not home Irving sits on our upper deck staring at the driveway gate waiting for me to return. In this picture it was actually snowing.

No pictures, but I was sharing Peanuts with Zeke and Toga earlier. Captive audience. All of our past pooches did the same.

I share peanuts in the shell with Thor. I will toss some then toss and empyshell. He will spit the empty one out so fast it will make your head spin. I have never had a bad dog, they have all had strengths and weaknesses, if Thor liked people better he would be perfect. He would protect my grandchildren with his life and I know he would do the same for my wife and I. Never been house broke but sleep on the porch or the basement without a mess. I get my fix for wanting a 100 dogs by looking at the pictures of all of yours.

The lady I got my Baron from...
Baron's mom, from her female Bell
had another litter recently
3 girls 2 boys, White Inglish Labs (different father then Baron's)
will be available for sale, born Feb 1st, be ready around April I'd imagine
Their Farm & Fruit stand it's in Valley Springs, Calif.
about 1-1/2 hr down from me
no idea price, they are purebreds,
(she felt sorry for me, about loosing Elvis so young, I got Baron for $1,500,
almost 2 years ago in May, the other 6 pups sold, were by word of mouth,
all sold for $2,000
)

Alicia great lady, they usually list on the AKC Pups for sale registry too

Baron's new Feb 1st Bell mom bros. 2 & 3 fem. diff. father Howl Solo, Casper Baron's dad died.jpg

so cute,
I'm tempted to get a girl dog
but don't want to breed Baron, or accidentally with his 'stepsister'
so that's out probably

good bloodline, 'some type of championship' for the dad,
is from Eastern Europe (Hungry (?) IIRC) Barons dad was from Utah

Bell the mom, she was artificially inseminated

I recently found this picture of Mishka in my files. It's like she's looking for me, like I do for her daily. It's still tough, and I have habits we shared, that I still start to do...

It's always rough losing a cherished pet. I know your pain.
My best friends had to put down their dobie/shepherd mix Saturday.
Bleeding internally and in pain from cancer.
I teared up (again) myself when I heard. I loved that dog almost as much as my friends. Their other shepherd is "lost", according to my friend.
RIP, Bullet.
Bullet, with my Mopar, both gone. And the one who will miss Bullet most, Runa. (with me, as a puppy)

So sorry.
That's exactly what got Mishka. She didn't really show it, till the day we lost her. Typical stoic Husky. We knew she had issues, but they weren't bad at Vet visits.

Same thing here, while looking at an old hard drive last week I found this pic of Chloe from around 2013. That job had a dog friendly office (might explain that disgusting carpet) so I brought her in once. I still have a gut but crazy to see how big it was back then. Old age got her a couple of years ago, her organs were starting to shut down and she barely ate, once she had a really bad seizure it was time to end it.
In her younger years she loved cats, she was even kind of a surrogate mom to my oldest cat Mopar.
