Door Panel Plastic?

Just Wondering What You Guys Used To Attach The Poly Plastic To The Door Stucture To Protect The Door Panels?

I use 3M black strip caulk. The last set of water shields I bought they included a bunch of gray strip caulking very similar to 3M strip caulk, but maybe a little softer - so I went ahead and used it.
