I installed drop spindles on my '68 Charger. Cannot get full turn radious now, needs to come up about one inch.
Can I adjust the torsion bars up that much? Without messing up the geometry? I went to an 8 1/2" rim,using 60 series T/A tires,and I want to keep at least 60 series on the car for uniformity.
Any input you might have will be appreciated.
Thanks

What is your ride height now ? ( the actual measurement )

Lowering the front ride height using the torsion bars is usually easier than swapping spindles, how low did you want the car??
Just curious...:xscuseless:
:steering::lol:

Look at the FSM. Originally the front ends rode a bit high. The correct height is probably just about right.

I would think you could get away with raising it 1", but you'll need to recheck alignment.

I think 1 inch would do it. I believe the spindles droppped it 2 1/2 ".
Almost all of my cars are lowered. It's just something I do.
Thanks for your help.

Yeah, just turn up those torsion bars and re-align it, you'll be fine.
