Duraglass Application

Question for the seasoned body work professionals.

Can duraglass be applied over epoxy primer, assuming I scuff area with 80-100 grit first, or do I have to remove primer and apply to bare metal?

Technical Data Sheet from manufacturer says apply to bare metal.

And sanded to 24 or 36 grit for proper adhesion.

Throw Duraglass in the garbage.Whats the application?

I'm planning to use it over roof to quarter seam, quarter to rocker seam and cowl to A pillar seams.

I use USG allmetal in that application.

Use V.P.A. Vette Panel Adhesive.
