My 1974 Roadrunners emergency brake will not "catch" if you will when i press the pedal. Not a big issue except it is a standard. Anyone had this happen before? If so is there an adjustment or is a new one in order?

There are usually threaded ends on the cables which can be tightened up.
Likely the cables are loose.
Hopefully they are there and in one piece.

It's always good to have a working E-brake but in the mean time, if you are not parking on a steep hill, park the car while in reverse.

Thanks for the bit of wisdom. Will check it out. I know i show as Florida, but am a lifelong resident of East Bloomfield.
