I have a engine in my garage would like a little help id ing

side of block 2532130-1
LS

under distributor V 36
6 12

Intake 2806307

Any help would be appreciated Thanks in advance

After checking 3 sites for verification I came up with this...
Block-2532130 383 B 1965
Intake 2806307 After checking I can not find a manifold listed for that number although there is a listing for 2806301 which is a later model 383 68/69 intake manifold.

One more ? what does the 4 23 64 stand for Wouldn't that be a little early for a 65

Yes because V = model year 1964. 36 = 361 CID
So a casting of 4/23/64 would be right.
6 12 would be the assembly date of June 12th (1964)

Not sure what to tell you on the block casting numbers.

The V stamp indicates an engine built for a 64 model year car. If it was a 65 it would be an "A" The casting date and assembly date fit together pretty well for installation in a 64 model year.

Let's remove all doubt. Measure the bore.

Theres one, don't believe everything you read!

2532130 casting listed as a 383, but built as a 361 based on the V36 stamping and your measured bore. Mopar back then you gotta luv'm
