Engine offset

I know this has been covered a hundred times but I've read a few different answers so I want to be certain. The engine offset in a 68 RR is 1 1/4" to passenger side correct? Need to make sure my fabbed 9 will have the pinion centered correct.

Simple. Makes clearance on the driver's side, for the steering box.

You could always take to dimensions from the original housing and add or subtract what is needed for the nine to keep it positioned correctly.
