If anyone has read or follows any of my postings you will now that I've usually got many irons in the fire when it come to working on my car. Steering gear, speedometer, timing, tranny lines, etc...
Well, this weekend saw my power steering pump reinstalled, the speedo housing gasket replaced, and the paint buffed and waxed. Some nice progress. Of course, it was promptly followed up with a cracked exhaust pipe just past the collector, followed by what felt like a huge reduction in performance like maybe two cylinders missing but very shaky idle and dogged driving. Not sure if those two are related... Is that a possibility? I literally just replaced coil, wires, cap, rotor, and plugs and it was running better than ever now it feels like there is a big miss....AND THEN today the high pressure P/S hose failed at a union and spewed fluid all over the headers, smoking out and spilling all over the parking garage at my brand new job at a luxury high rise in downtown Boston... One step forward, two steps back....this car is killin me!
