Exhaust manifold to exhaust pipe gasket replacement (69 road runner)

I have identified a small leak and want to replace my gaskets. The shop manual does not call for any sealeant. Should I use any or jujst replace the gasket?

Just replace.

remflex makes very good gaskets for the manifold and flange. pricey, but def worth it.

Unless you are having trouble with it just use stock dry gasket
