Just removed a fuel cell from my 67 coronet trunk and reinstalled an original fuel tank and plumbing. I then installed the correct tail pipes along the tank. My exhaust outlets are about 5 or 6 inches below my bumper. Is this normal?

@Jerry Hall is the resident expert on '67's... but here's my '66 Plymouth.

My 67 is not stock, but any exhaust tip the hang 5" below the bumper would look weird.

I have them at 1 3/4 inch below the bumper. And the leading edge of the stainless tip is even with the lower edge of the bumper. I did it that way cause that's the way I liked them. Looks different from different angles. Yours look good.
