Fan belt rant

All of these belts that all of you are having problems with are not the correct width belts. The belt is supposed to be flush with the top edges of the pulleys. I know-that's all you can find. All of the Mopars and GM's back in the day used the narrow 13 series belts with a few 17 series for the single AC belts.

The FSM mentioned a tool used to tighten fan belts. This guy made some to sell and uplaoded a video of the tool in use.

In one of the many parts stashes that I took in over the years, in one of them was a factory-ish alternator belt adjustment tool like that. It works quite well.
