Father's Day ups & downs

Took a gander through Castle air museum...nice day for it.

Got home, fired up the '68 for an ice cream run, and.......a little 'click' and no more reverse. Dammmmm....I hope it's just in the servo/piston/seal although a rebuild wouldn't hurt..I just don't have the dough at the moment and I'll be bummed if the car is sidelined for any length of time. It's cruisin' (and tire smokin) season dangit! I didn't drive it to see if it coasts or brakes when lifting the throttle in low 1, I'll know more when I get the pan dropped in the next day or so..... updates will be coming as I'm sure I will have questions!

A little irony. Wife and daughter suggested a ice cream run in the road runner. I took the grand marquise instead. Didn't want something to break and ruin a relaxing father's day.

Damn that is a nice collection of war birds.. I'm partial to the B-17 and the B-29, and that Peace Maker is pretty interesting too.

Yeah they've got quite a few planes there now, I love it... from WWII stuff on up. Yep that Peacemaker is a big bird. Here's a closer picture of what they have sitting next to it... Yeah you better make peace or else!

That is a bummer but I do love the planes. I've been wanting to take my kids to the Dayton Air Force museum... better just get off my butt and do it.

I spent my whole fathers day digging in the dirt, would have preferred a nice fun day but nobody seamed to concerned so I just did what I do best WORK.

This VC-9 was used by presidents from Carter to W. Bush. Most extensive use was Nancy Reagan...she flew in this one almost exclusively. They've still got a jar of President Reagan's jelly bellys on the conference table (no pics allowed inside)

Very cool , I cut the exhaust off dads 64 300 it weld in the new muffler s I got him . He was happy me? Wish I had a lift!!!!
