Bored sitting here watching one of my fav movies The Thing with Kurt Russell and started thinking about these types of movies so heres my small list to start

The original Evil Dead series (remake was utter trash)
Original Nightmare on Elm Street same with that remake
The hills have eyes (remake is better IMO)
Dawn of the Dead like both
Friday the 13th older got cheesy but the heart of the order isn't bad
Newer Texas Chainsaw Massacre's a lot better than the originals
The Thing like I said above

that's all for now ....not really a fan of the exorcist and newer crap theres too much CGI and just hokey crap

some of the classics, "Physco", "Fear" {original with Robert Mitchem & Gregory Peck} "The Shinning", "Amnyville Horror", "Poltergeist"... I'm not into the over the top, gory/blood & guts, vampire or zombie stuff, at all !!, pretty much a waste of money to me

"The Thing" was pretty good too, both the original & the remake with Kurt Russell...

I thought Schrooms was a pretty cool idea. Don't know if it could be considered a horror flick though. Most of the Alien movies too.

I like allot of the 50's stuff like "the Blob" too

I liked "The Ring".

What was the one with Nicole Kidman where she ended up...uh oh...the Haunted, maybe?

"Phantasm", anyone?

"Alien" franchise?

They lived in a big ol' house and the kid was afraid of the light? That was a good one.

love the old black and white monster stuff.
them
mantis
king kong (original)
thing,both are good
one million miles to earth
all the Ray Haryhousn stuff.
saw a movie called dead alive, billed as they goryest movie ever.might be true, but i couldnt stop laughing.lawn mower tied to belly, and lots of zombies.you get the picture.

Nicole Kidman movie was 'The Others.' Was a rip of a British movie from the 80s or 90s.
Myself, I love all 3 original Evil Deads, fright night (more because they used to play them at the 'midnights'). Heavy Metal, which I would call a bizarre cartoon horror flick.
