Does anyone make a saddle to fit on a floor jack that would help with replacing an 8 and 3/4 center section?
My transmission jack design could be adapted for floor jack use.Does anyone make a saddle to fit on a floor jack that would help with replacing an 8 and 3/4 center section?
Yep, the county “donated” it. That stuff is tough as hell, and it already had all the holes drilled. That looks like part of a street sign post.
Strong.
I like it.
I've used a street sign post like that to extend a chain about 8 feet to pull a car into the shop.
It looks like the "cats ***"! Did you need to adjust the floor?I tried this, it helped but didn't work as well as I hoped. It needed more control of the angle to really work well.

It was a while ago, I don't recall having to make adjustments beyond raising and lowering the jack, but I remember the center section rubbed pretty hard on the bottom going in and I was worried about damaging the gasket. It looks like the "cats ***"! Did you need to adjust the floor?
