well just finishing up a big work spurt, weather sucks here, see a window of opportunity to skate out of here and take 4 of my best guys with me to florida to go deep sea fishing. round trip ticket from detroit to ft. lauderdale are 80 bucks looking into renting a house for a week. wanna hunt down some sail fish on a private charter, anyone know of the best areas this time of the year where we might land a couple. I've heard the further south the better for big game fish. Thanks!

Good luck & most of all have fun, catch a bunch

sorry I can't help with location, tips in Florida

It’s a bit of a drive from ft. Lauderdale but it’s hard to beat the Florida Keys for sport fishing.

Make sure you have a place to stay.. The News was just saying everything is booked due to the cold and snow in the US, and People are stuck here due to cancelled flights... Other than that have a good time
I know flights are dirt cheap do have a lead on a house on the gulf side that might be a life saver, thanks for the heads up.

I'll probably be down in that area it looks like might have to check on some miami flights, thanks

I have a contact in Marathon and can message you. Not sure if he is booked but he would be the guy to talk to.

I hope when you get out into the Gulf Stream looking for Sailfish you land a whopper of a Tuna $$$ :D

that would be great free vacation and make some extra coin. would have to stay for another week.

Hoping to rent a house so we can actually eat some fresh caught stuff, I did catch some tuna in hawaii back in the eighties, way better than chicken of the sea.

Lauderdale is not on the Gulf Coast.
i know but that, my parents used to live there in the 90's just have a lead on a house there not a huge drive for me, just getting thru the traffic will suck.

cool i wont be, heard its pretty laxed down there.
