Folding Tonneau covers

all of the truck owners what do you have as a tonneau cover I was looking at either a Extang Encore or a Fold-a-Cover G4 Elite any pros or cons .

I have a solid Undercover on my Tacoma. It's great. Keeps the bed 100% dry, locks and can load stuff on top of it if you fill the bed. If you need to load taller things in the bed, it takes a minute to remove it. Two people it's a breeze, but I have also done it myself. Only weighs 65lbs.

have a patriot hard fiberglass cover on my dakota,and a folding cover on the wifes ram,folding cover leaks at the folding hinges,just bought a 08 ram will be getting a fiberglass hardcover,seems them vinly or fabric covers are junk.

I used to have a hard fiberglass cover, but I sold it and went with a Fold-a-Cover about 6 years ago. I like the versatility of the Fold-a-Cover. It's easy to get out of the way and easy to get to the front of the box. It does let a little water in along the sides in some spots more than it used to. I think it may need new seals. It's not too bad, so I haven't gotten around to trying to fix it yet. One of the biggest things I like about it over the fiberglass one is the look. It doesn't hang over the rails like the fiberglass one did, so they don't get scraped up and it just looks better. The fiberglass one was 100% water tight, though.

Not a fold up. Mines a Roll-n-Lock. Takes a little bed space but seems pretty secure. Pretty happy with it so far.

I've been using a leather roll up cover on my 99 Ram since 2003. It has tracks with Velcro along the sides and locks in place at the tailgate. I chose the Velcro type since I read somewhere that soft covers with snaps won't close when it's too cold out or the snaps pop out over time. In 13 years through ice, snow & heat, not one problem...very happy with it.

I have a Bak Flip G2 on my Ram. I really like it. It keeps the water out. My advice on this cover is to make sure you measure it out completely. If not aligned correctly, it will leak.
