Gotta love a roundhouse.

B&O museum in Baltimore has a roundhouse display.

It was a passenger car shop (not a steam engine shop) and has a flat top turntable with polished wood that looks like a basket ball court.
 
That engine and those cars (might be 100 year old replicas) are at the B&O museum in Baltimore.
