I havent read all these posts , and havent kept up with the thread at all , In went to a new dentist friday , called the dental
depot , they had a train set running the entire inside perimeter , about a foot below
the ceiling , is about 3 times the size of the ho gauge , thot it was neat as h--- !

LGB, or G (Garden, IIRC) gauge is popular for some reason to run at almost ceiling level.
It's close to the old #1 gauge, from which "0" gauge is derived (note "zero" and not the letter O"), which in turn influenced both "00" (double zero, British 1:76 scale),and HO (half O, American 1:87 scale), by which time the zero had been lost and was commonly referred to as O.
