Friction tape

if you’re looking to keep your car looking original and dont want to use wire loom which I think doesnt look good to cover wire use friction tape. Just used two rolls of it i got from lowes. Looks great. Covered up all the add on wires to make it look factory and added a 2 pin pig tail to my pusher fan. The same looking plug that a electronic ignition Distributor has. Just figured I’d share.

I've been using Tesa tape, wonder how that compares to the Lowes stuff ... might have to check it out !
 
I wonder what the heat rating is for this tape. Being electrical id think it be high.
 
When I rehabbed my forward harness(factory original) there was a wrap of non-adhesive vinyl under the friction tape...extra layer of protection
 
Just replace positive terminal. Custom made. $9. Not spending $135 for a repor.
