That's what I run, they work well. Did you put them on relay's? It makes a difference.
The HIDs came with a relay harness. Direct to battery, using the old headlight wiring as the trigger lead. The LEDs don't really care, they're stupid-bright anywhere from 10-18v since they don't dim on low V - they're either on (crazy bright), or off. No gray area (which is why I hate when people put LEDs in their DRLs - DRLs are high beams run at 7 or 8 v so they're dim..but the LEDs are full-tilt annoying as ****).
