Wondering what people are running for front wheels and tires on their 65 Coronets? I have 15x5.5 draglites and a 215 70s and I'm catching the bottom corner of the fender when turning. I have 275's on the back. I was thinking of going to a 225/70 on a 7 inch wide wheel when I redo the front end and put the disks on this winter. I know I have to adjust the ride height some as well.

Torque thrust 15x6 with 225/78 15's. Didn't want to send tire with 5,000 miles to the j-yard. Ol'school. Ignore the unwanted guest.

How about fabbing a longer fender strut? I'll bet you could push the corner outward 1/2-3/4" and it wouldn't be very noticable. Remove the bolt and pull it a little and see. The fender there is pretty flexible.

Those look like old ET's or Torque Thrust's. I'm no expert on them. Wish I could find a couple of 15"x 6" or 7" wide. New t- thrust's have an arc to the spokes that's why I think they're vintage.

I'm running 15x7 Cragars with 4.25" back spacing with 215/70R15 Cooper Cobra tires and have no issues.

I'm trying to decide on what wheels I want to run. The Draglites are loaners from a buddy. Its a real chore to decide. The car is a nice Dark blue metallic and the chrome is good. I keep coming back to this one....

I just got a set of the ET vintage V which I think are on the car in the link. Mine are going on my 64 sport fury and are the closest thing I could find in aluminum to match the factory magnesium torq thrusts from 64/65. I got the 15x4 cast centre with satin soft lip. I think they would look awesome on your car.

Thinking to go with 225/70s. I like the look. The ET Vintage V are sweet. Gonna come down to bucks I think. By the time I put shipping and cdn exchange on them a 250 dollar wheel is 400 bucks. Gotta pay to play I guess.

ya by the time I paid shipping it was the better part of $1000 CAD for 2 with mag lugs. not a cheap wheel but most accurate I could find. even with that price I still have to drive over the boarder to pick them up! I was too scared to pay duties on top of that price when importing to Canada.

These wheels 15"x6" are $105 each on ebay free shipping and I think they come with lug nuts, Ron's Rims. If you buy and open a box and no lug nuts check the other box before asking why no lug nuts. I know, but I asked nice. answer check the other box.

Bought mine from Ron's Rims on eBay as well...can't go wrong with prices and they ship directly from American Racing I believe.

I'll probably ship to my sister in Mass. Then make a weekend of it and go down and get them. Probably pick up a bunch of stuff. For the 100+ in shipping and duty I can drive down cost me less than 200 to go down and back.
