Garage Smells Like Gas....

This is a charcoal cartridge used on the booster
for a corvette. I use it on the tank vent line.
I no longer have the gas smell, and they're
easy and cheap to replace. (The black filter)
At the end of the vent line , I installed a marine
(boat type) bug screen to keep the bugs out.
P/N for the filter is Dorman 80195. Can't say
for sure this where you're gettin' the gas smell
from, but it's a good bet. P.S. Gas Expands as
it warms up. You stated that all your vent lines
are taped off. Check your gas cap seal. That
tank vapor's gotta go somewhere. Seems to me
venting it through a filter is gonna solve the
problem.

Ended up sealing the factory system with new rubber lines, a good evap tank in left rear wheel house and filler neck seal. No smell at all since other than shutting off after pulling into the garage. Appreciate the tip for future use though!
