I don't think I would waste the money on one. The O/D reduction isn't really worth it. I would go with the Silver Sport 5speed.

Don’t want to do any tunnel modifications or lose the hurst shifter. And aren’t the Tremec like $6000? Talk about wasting money.

I like overdrives for highway cruising to keep up with traffic today. That being said I truly don’t believe anyone will save enough money in gas mileage to get a return on their investment without running many many more miles than most of us run our classics. You have to just value the overdrive whatever one you choose as any other thing you put into your favorite classic and just do it because you can and want it.

I would only be doing this to cruise at lower rpm’s. Not to save fuel.

Did it for lower rpms, so we could drive it all over on long trips.
Now we take it everywhere, times when we would have left it home, or wanted to but also wanted to have a conversation on the way.

If it saves fuel, a win we'll gladly take, but with a dual quad tunnel ram, I've never calculated gas mileage, nothing to compare it to.

I know I spent $428.06 on fuel for a 2,500 mile trip, filled the tank before we left, and pulled in the garage on fumes.
