Getting the intake, valve covers, scoop, and engine plate back on Monday. They clearcoated everything except the scoop.I still wanted something to polish. They say after the coating, just wash with soap and water and rinse.
Dry to avoid water spots:D
Sent complete grilles out,one will be polished and the other powdercoated black.Any predictions which one will win and stay on the car????/

Intake had to go back to the machine shop, the blower mounting surface is not true and the clearcoat they sprayed everything with has to be milled off.
Tried to assemble the heads today, when the machine shop "touched" the seats they made a boo-boo,so back to the machine shop to drop them today. He was very apologetic and will have them ready Wed afternoon. This shop is a 70 mile round trip:BangHead:

New polished Manley springs, titanium retainers and spring cups came in from http://www.mopartsracing.com/tmc/. Todd is a great guy with ample stock. He had the Milodon bronze freeze plug kit in stock as well as the Milodon crank gear that needed to be replaced. The oil pump drive with the bronze gear was in perfect condition so it will be reinstalled.

Well....pull your finger out and start wrenching.
How long before you get all the parts ready to assemble again? Sounds like it might be a tight squeeze to make Carlisle.
One is in the nose and the other is...........................:)

hemi-itis , what about rods ?
I'm the last guy to ask about rod length and pin heights.I have the smart guys figure it out.If your looking to build an engine, here is a great place for MOPAR parts and tech for rods, blocks. He also knows all the math.Tell Todd HEMI-ITIS sent ya!ks
If you not a hands on guy, then you need to get with a engine builder.
