I am getting ready to install door glass into my 1973 Charger, and have decided to do some of the weather stripping to help w/ highway noises and interior temp. regulation. According to Summit Racing, this kit will work. Has anybody ever tried these? Is that a fair price? It's 167 bucks for the roof rail seals, door seals, and trunk seal. Does the roof rail seal include the seal all the way back to the quarter windows? And does a roof rail seal also contain the door glass to quarter glass seal? Thanks. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/mmp-rkb4005-106/overview/year/1973/make/dodge/model/charger

That's a low price, I paid way more for seals on my RR, but I used steel rubber products and some others sold separately. I found the metro super soft seals are much better quality if you can get those its worth it.

That kit looks very similar to the one I bought from Tamraz for my 74 SE. If it's the same one, I did not try the trunk seal yet but have mixed reviews on the other two. The door seal fit fine but the roof rail seal was very disappointing. The rubber part that is suppose to lock in the channel was not formed right and I had to use 3M adhesive to to hold it up or it would fall when you opened door. Also, that same seal has a lip on it to cover the metal seam and it was about 1/4"-1/2" shorter than the original so it doesn't cover properly. Hopefully you have better luck.
