I have headers on my car now, but the passenger side actually rests on the shock tower. I don’t like that. I see a lot about TTI headers. Which part number is the correct one? I would probably want the ceramic

I have Schumacher tri y headers, and love 'em ! You can swap out your starter without dropping a header, and they go on very easy.

All I can say is headers are hot if you drive your car through Indiana state fairs and stuff during a big car show event cars overheat at idle through traffic unless your engines all hopped up I would say exhaust manifolds are the way to go oh, nice car by the way

Are your motor mounts good/set correctly? I really like my Dougs headers-nickel plated.

Thank you I have Doug's headers on my 440 in my 66 satellite and all I can say is it's hot risk of plug wire melt Etc not to mention the urine we have for gas from California here in Las Vegas I'm trying to swap out my hood for a hood with a big scoop to try and add some sort of heat dissipation

It has been proven that a few dings in the tubes for clearance does NOT effect power:)

I would like to add that I do use heat resistant spark plug sleeves on my header equipped engines for extra insurance.

Mike, that’s a very good question. Coincidentally, I noticed that the oil pan is nearly resting on the suspension. Scrape marks on the oil pan. I ordered new motor mounts just n case that’s the problem

Take a hammer to them and get the clearance you need. On an episode of engine masters Freiburger and Dulcich absolutely mauled a set of long tubes and the horsepower was utterly unaffected until they'd basically dented in every tube halfway shut....and even then the engine barely cared.

if you get doug's headers , have a big hammer and heavy pipe to pound on them. they hit steering box, mini-starter, steering shaft coupling and torsion bar , so far!

I suggest visiting tti online....I put tti 1 7/8” polished, ceramic coated, thermal barrier headers on my 65 Coronet , they fit like a glove! Remember, MOPAR is all they do, and they got all figured out...I also went with tti 3” pipes all the way back, including the “X” pipe....very nice stuff
