Heading up to see Don's place today

We were there in 2009. It's overwhelming, and as RC said, if you really read it all, it would take all day or more. I always thought how cool it would be to see what's in all of the other buildings that aren't open to the public, too. The museum is just a fraction of what he has, I'm sure. These pics make me want to go back.

The Navy plaque reminded me of this recruitment poster. I've had it probably 50 years.

I remember when that poster came out. Made you think what they went through to make it all happen. (Not much of a shut down area though)

Reading the plaque puts it all together.

That's just awesome RC !!
I'd be in there for hours, what a legend Don Garlits is in the racing world.
And looking at all those engines is a tour through history.
I've got it on the list now, need to visit FL soon.
Thanks for sharing all those great PIC's for us.

As others have said, it looks likes Don has been adding on... I was there the last time in 2015 & there's been plenty added since then..
