I have found what seems to be a good deal but I need to know can you run solid ally heads on a water block(stock factory) without having heating problems or do I need to concrete the block
More info on heads would be helpful. What is the intended use?I have found what seems to be a good deal but I need to know can you run solid ally heads on a water block(stock factory) without having heating problems or do I need to concrete the block

I have no experience with solid cylinder heads but, I do not think a water pump will do anything for you-no connection between cylinder banks without thru head flow. The combustion chambers are where the heat is produced and the block is mainly a conduit for the hot coolant to pass thru on it's way to a radiator-if one is used. What do the racers using these heads do for between rounds cool down?Sorry my texting was all bad spelling should I fill the block or use a external water pump to help keep it cool while idling
I agree I got swayed by the price I don't want to get in an area I have no understanding ,parts are in my opinion very exotic and needs a mech that has experience with themI have no experience with solid cylinder heads but, I do not think a water pump will do anything for you-no connection between cylinder banks without thru head flow.
