Where should the heater motor be grounded???

On a '69 Plymouth b-body it grounds to the heater box - which, when bolted in place is grounded to the body. And note that "strangely" the ground is not green.

It's not really a ground, it's DC-Negative.
For example the battery cable is black.
We just use the term "ground" from home/industrial wiring.
I use it all the time, but in reality it's incorrect.

I was just going to say Don.. it's to throw off all the house electricians! Red is +.. Black is negative. Green is used for earth grounding in DC circuits... or in Mopar's case a + feed!

LOL, can’t better Wayne’s description.

There are plenty of references to 'ground' in the service manuals because it is a term used for a commonly connected reference point for a supply voltage. 'Earth ground' is really the correct term for non-auto ground references.

Can I get a vote for "neutral"? (Attempted humor).

We stand corrected !!

That looks familiar, now.
To coin a phrase: A pictures is worth a thousand corrections.
I've got CRS.
