Heater Hoses Size

Im going to change the heater hoses on my 440 charger and its says 5/8" on each of the hoses is that correct for a 440 heater core. i always thought they were different sizes but maybe thats for a small block can anyone advise. Thanks

before 71 they are both 5/8"

Before 69 they were both 5/8's 70 they went to 5/8 and 1/2.
