I would say if anything I'm running rich. Don't know how that might affect things.
I’m talking going down the highway not idling. But rich doesn’t make it overheat.

Lean and or retarded timing can make it run hot. Just something to consider on an overheating car.

The first thing would be to keep the radiator core covered with liquid.
If you keep needing to add fluid and it's below the core everytime you check it then you are losing it somewhere.
If there is not a noticeable leak or coolant smell you almost assuredly have a head gasket or head leak.
If it’s a head gasket then the coolant is getting burned, no? Doesn’t that produce white smoke? I have none, but I do seem to have to keep adding coolant. I thought adding a bottle would cure that but I don’t think it has. Not quite sure yet, haven’t driven it enough.

Troubleshooting 101, start w pressure test of radiator and cap.
